So after being inactive for centuries, I Suddenly show up again with an interesting theory regarding Gen 5's mane villain, Opaline.

Now, Opaline has become something of a polarizing character for multiple Reasons, chief among them being the fact that she's the reason the tribes are at odds with each other in the new era.

So why not make it worse for her by connecting her to another polarizing character? XD

Hasbro took a step back from the Disney logic of "Princess=Good, Queen=Evil" in the latter stages of Friendship is Magic, as well as G5.

After eight episodes, I look at Opaline and wonder who's going to write her better; the showrunners or the fans.

So far she's reminded me of the Stepmother from Cinderella, the Queen from Snow White, and Mother Gothel from Tangled.

Written by Admiral Producer. This story is definitely a sad one about Misty ultimately being betrayed by Opaline, and does include Misty getting a violent beatdown (Just a little content/trigger warning there). But I feel like this is getting to be the start of a redemption arc for Misty.

I personally found this story hitting my feels, thanks to a reading by Straight to the point studio, and thought it was worth sharing.

Certainly hope we get more news on Make Your Mark Chapter 4 soon. Even if it doesn't involve Opaline on fire.
